What am I doing here?

I have never been much of a public person until recently. I realized I am making changes to myself everyday and others may be doing the same thing. Perhaps we can connect and encourage each other as we work towards a better future for ourselves. This blog will be about things that I do and use to help my family grow. I will post recipes, DIYs, crafts, encouragement, the occasional funny and information about a product called Skinny Fiber that I am using to help better my health. I am a distributor but I in no way want anyone to think that I am pushing anything on my readers. I hope that we can get conversations going, and that we can help each other on the journey to better ourselves and our families.

I would like to share a little bit about my self.

I have been with my love for 9 years and we have a 2 year old daughter. She really is the center of our lives, and we are doing our best to help her grow into a respectful and smart person. I stay at home with her as well as run my business. She and I are currently learning Sign Language together. We are up to about 20 words. She surprises me everyday with how well she picks up on information. I know it is cliche but they are little sponges at this age. We also do many crafts and cook together! (she helps with the stirring :) )

When I was 19 I went through Ovarian Cancer and one of my ovaries was removed. I was afraid that I would never be able to have children. But by the grace of God she is with us. I hope after losing more weight I will be blessed with another. I started out my weight loss journey at 275 pounds. I tried just exercising and eating right but I kept failing. That is when I found Skinny Fiber. I have been taking it for 80 days, the last time I checked I had lost 20 pounds but I have decided not to get on the scale again until my 90 Day Challenge is complete. Just one more week from Friday!

If anyone ever has any questions about anything please leave me a comment or send me an e-mail. I am also active on Facebook and Pinterest.
